London based Valens Health named regional finalist in the UK StartUp Awards 2026
London based Valens Health has been named a regional finalist in the UK StartUp Awards 2026 (https://startupawards.uk/) in the Consumer Services StartUp of the Year category, shortlisted in London.
The UK StartUp Awards was launched to recognise the booming startup scene across the UK, which has accelerated significantly in recent years with around 832,000 new businesses registered in the UK in 2025.
Founded in 2025 by Tania Leach and Dr Daniel Leach, Valens Health is a Doctor led men’s health clinic designed to provide expert medical support to men aged between 35 and 70. Based in the capital, the business focuses on delivering specialised care that addresses the unique physical and mental health requirements of men as they navigate different stages of life. By providing professional, clinical expertise in an accessible format, Valens Health ensures that its patients receive the targeted healthcare they need to maintain their long term wellbeing.
"Being named a finalist for the London region is a proud moment for our team and a testament to the hard work we have put into launching Valens Health over the last year," said Tania, founder of Valens Health. "We started this business to provide men with a trusted, professional environment to manage their health, and to have that mission recognised by the UK StartUp Awards is incredibly rewarding. We are looking forward to the regional final and the possibility of representing London at the national final at Ideas Fest in September 2026."
Since its launch, Valens Health has focused on building its reputation within the healthcare sector and establishing a reliable service for its growing patient base. The shortlisting marks a significant period of momentum for the startup as it continues to expand its reach across the London region and solidify its position as a specialist provider in the consumer healthcare market.
"Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE, co-founder of the UK StartUp Awards (https://startupawards.uk/), said:
'New businesses are the driving force behind any thriving economy, generating employment, pioneering innovation, and contributing to prosperity right across the UK. This year's finalists represent the very best of British entrepreneurial talent, spotting opportunities and, through dedication, skill, and resilience, building ventures that are making a real difference in their industries and communities. The standard of entries in 2026 has been exceptional, and every finalist should be enormously proud of what they have achieved. Regional winners will go on to represent their region at the national final at Ideas Fest in September, and that is a stage worthy of everything they have built.'"
