TANIA LEACH - Founder / Director

Tania is the Founder and Operational Director of Valens Health Ltd, a CQC-registered healthcare company specialising in men’s health and hormone optimisation therapies. She is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the organisation, ensuring that services are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with best clinical practice. Her role includes overseeing compliance, developing patient-centred care pathways, and driving innovation to improve access to underrepresented areas of men’s health.
With over 15 years of experience in prehospital and trauma care, including leadership roles within the NHS as a Senior Paramedic Team Leader and international clinical practice across Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Tanzania, Tania brings extensive expertise in delivering high-quality healthcare in diverse and challenging environments. Her academic background, including a Master’s degree in Global Health from the University of Manchester, underpins her evidence-based approach to service design and operational governance.
Tania’s passion lies in addressing the gaps in men’s health services by creating accessible, confidential, and tailored solutions that empower men to take proactive control of their wellbeing. Through Valens Health, she is committed to ensuring that men’s health receives the focus and innovation it deserves.

DR DANIEL LEACH - Co-Founder / Medical Director

Dr Daniel Leach is the Co-Founder and Medical Director of Valens Health Ltd, where he provides clinical leadership and strategic oversight for a CQC-registered healthcare company dedicated to men’s health and hormone optimisation therapies. His role centres on ensuring that all services are evidence-based, safe, and effective, while also advancing innovation in an area of healthcare that remains underrepresented. Dan is responsible for overseeing clinical governance, shaping patient pathways, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance across the organisation.
With a career spanning General Practice and Pre-hospital Emergency Medicine (PHEM) in the UK, Australia and Canada; Dan has extensive experience in delivering expert care across both routine and high-acuity settings. His background includes roles in UK HEMS, BASICS, Mountain Rescue, Motorsport medicine with British Superbikes and MotoGP, as well as remote and expedition medicine worldwide. He has also served as a consultant in aeromedical retrieval with the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Australia, gaining expertise in complex long-range patient transfers.
Dan combines his deep clinical expertise with a passion for operational excellence, patient safety, and accessible healthcare. Through Valens Health, he is committed to tackling the unique challenges within men’s health and ensuring patients have access to holistic, clinician-led care designed to optimise wellbeing and long-term health outcomes.

DR RHESA OBINECHE - Men's Health Specialist Doctor

Dr Rhesa Obineche is the Co-Founder and a Specialist Doctor at Valens Health Ltd. With more than 20 years of medical experience across Slovakia, the United States, and the United Kingdom, he brings a truly global perspective to improving an area of healthcare that has long been underrepresented.
After earning his Medicinae Universitae Doctor (MUDr) degree from Comenius University in Bratislava, Dr Obineche refined his early skills in the United States, gaining valuable experience in dermatology, allergy, and chronic disease management. His subsequent training and practice in the UK and passion for mens health, gave him exceptional versatility and a holistic approach to patient care. He also served as an Army Medical Officer at Pirbright, deepening his expertise in occupational and military medicine.
At Valens Health, Dr Obineche’s focus is on addressing the unique challenges in men’s health, from preventative strategies to hormone optimisation. He is passionate about empowering men to take a proactive role in their wellbeing and is committed to creating services that are accessible, evidence-based, and tailored to individual needs. DR SOBIA RAFIQ - Men's Health Specialist Doctor (GP with Interests in Sexual Health, Men’s Wellbeing & Metabolic Care)

Dr Sobia Rafiq is an experienced General Practitioner with over 15 years of broad clinical practice, with particular interests in sexual health, men’s wellbeing, and supporting patients living with metabolic illness. She works with individuals seeking guidance on testosterone concerns, sexual health difficulties, GLP-1 therapies, cardiovascular risk, and long-term health improvement.
Sobia holds postgraduate qualifications including the DFSRH and DRCOG, underpinning her expertise in sexual and reproductive health, erectile dysfunction, libido concerns, and overall sexual wellbeing. She has also completed formal training in diabetes and metabolic disease through the University of Warwick, enhancing her work with patients who require support with weight management, pre-diabetes, and metabolic risk reduction.
She has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, allowing her to combine evidence-based practice with modern, technology-enhanced approaches to care. This supports her ability to deliver informed, up-to-date guidance aligned with current developments in men’s health and wellness.
Known for her calm, thoughtful manner and patient-centred approach, Sobia provides clear, supportive advice that helps men understand their health and make confident, informed decisions.

DR BHARAT THACKER - Men's Health Specialist Doctor

Dr Bharat Thacker is an experienced General Practitioner with over 30 years of clinical practice across both the NHS and private healthcare settings. As part of the Valens Healthcare team, he brings a broad and well-established skill set that supports high-quality, patient-focused primary care.
Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in managing the full spectrum of general practice presentations. He regularly prescribes GLP-1 medications and has been providing testosterone replacement therapy for men for several years. He also has experience in the medical management of hair loss and offers evidence-based treatment options for suitable patients. He also carries out minor surgical procedures and provide routine wellbeing and health assessment check
Within Valens Health, he contributes to a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and support colleagues in navigating complex general practice scenarios.
Dr Thacker’s approach is practical, balanced, and centred on delivering personalised, high-standard care to every patient. He aims to support Valens Health’s commitment to accessible, innovative, and compassionate care services.

DR CHINELO OJUKWU - Men's Health Specialist Doctor
MA (Cantab), MBBS (Lon), MRCGP, DOccM
Dr Chinelo Ojukwu is a GP with specialist interests in lifestyle medicine, metabolic and hormone health.
She brings over 20 years of experience working as a clinician across both the NHS and private sectors in London and the North West of England. She also has substantial experience delivering care remotely through digital consultations and telemedicine platforms.
Her high-level sporting background in her youth was the catalyst for her drive to provide a holistic, preventative approach to medicine.
Fifteen years ago, she started incorporating Lifestyle Medicine into her clinical practice while working in central London with Nuffield Health as a Health Assessment Doctor. This is where she cemented her interest in preventative health, which has since developed into an additional focus on metabolic and hormone health.
She has continued to educate herself at a postgraduate level with courses in testosterone deficiency, women’s health and neurodivergence. She also holds a Diploma in Occupational Medicine, making her well positioned to assess and advise on the interplay between health and work.
She is also a freelance medical copywriter, allowing her to extend her passion for educating people about health and wellbeing in a patient-friendly, empowering way.
